The 5th Excipient Fest China , co-sponsored by CFDA and  IPEC Federation, was successfully held in Beijing Xinyuan hotel on July 19-20, 2017. Dr. Gan from F.B.C attended the 5th Excipient Fest China and made the conference report entitled "analysis of the fomulations of globally listed fat emulsion", which analyzed the fomulations of nutritive and drug-loaded fat emulsion respectively. Taking propofol injection and alprostadil injection as examples, the selection of excipients, formulation study and quality control of fat emulsion with drug loading were discussed in detail.
